Little Rock Zoo Welcomes You!

Been to this Zoo a couple times now and it’s pretty large and decent. Takes few hours to complete and pretty clean. I’d say 20% the animals here are rehab animals and have server conditions, especially the cats which is sad to see but also a good thing if they are taking care of them.

If you need someone to come love your kitties everyday LR Zoo please message me I’ll come everyday and throw treats and give good kittie rubs. The arthritis they have is sad to witness in such small cages but I’m sure y’all take good care of them.

Can’t wait to check on mah kitties in the LRZoo.

The cafe is pretty large, a lot of room to sit down, some junk food options and that’s about it, no real healthy nor gluten free choices and I’d be afraid of any cross contamination to try anything.

Our new Egyptian Maus! Fastest Domestic Kitties

So I asked Alexa, “Alexa, what’s the fastest domestic cat?” She said the Egyptian Mau which can top speeds up to 33MPH!?!?! I said I have to find these and obtain them. Sure enough someone near us in Arkansas had some and we adopted two baby kitties. We named them Tesla & Enya and they can zoom faster than you can say The Flash. Here are some of the photos soon as we picked them up in a Popeye’s parking lot (Little Rock Fashion) style. Perfect way to bring in the New Year 2017!

Read about these egyptian maus below!

The Egyptian Mau is the fastest of the domestic cats,[3] with its longer hind legs, and unique flap of skin extending from the flank to the back knee, providing for greater agility and length of stride. Maus have been clocked running more than 48 km/h (30 mph).[3]

Maus often possess very musical voices. They are known to chirp, chortle, and emit other distinctly unusual vocalizations when stimulated.[4] Another behavior, quite common in happy Maus, has been described as “wiggle-tail.” The cat, whether female or male, wiggles and twitches its tail, and appears to be marking territory, also known as spraying, but during this behavior the Mau is not releasing urine. Facial expressions may change according to mood, and eye color may change from green to turquoise.[citation needed]

Day 1 in New York City: Trip to the Central Park Zoo and Hagi

burger

This was for sale in our hotel lobby $599

Instead of just posting a bunch of photos in one post I’ll create a bunch of separate posts for each adventure I come upon so it’s easier to search and manage through Google. The Central Park Zoo was fkin cold, and I had to create my own gloves. I can’t believe they don’t sell adult gloves/hats only children’s which is bullshit, I hate to buy socks and cut holes with my knife. The first night after we landed we got our uber and stayed at the Sheraton hotel and searched restaurants that Anthony Bourdain has went too and found one that was called Hagi 46 Sake Bar so we ended up hitting it up!

Sake Bar Hagi: Anthony Bourdain Inspired

Wanted to find a place on our first night in NYC and decided to check out spots that one of my favorite travel shows “Anthony Bourdain” has visited and he has came here and decided this would be the place, especially since they were open till like midnight. Being from Texas the entire foodie feel of this place was epic, walking down the stairs to the abyss of culinary genius of master sushi chefs and sake everywhere was an awesome first impression.
